Working and volunteering at a church involves many responsibilities, and it's important to make sure nothing on your to-do list slips through the cracks. Tasks allow you to create, track, and organize to-do items, so you can stay on top of all the things you need to get done! You can get started on the Tasks page in Home.

Create Task Lists

You can create lists to organize your various tasks and change your view to see all tasks or only tasks within a specific list.

  1. Switch between different lists or see all tasks.

The default My List and any tasks on that list are only visible to you. Any other lists you create can be shared with collaborators.

  2. Add a new task list.

When you create a new task list, it will have the default title "New Task List." Select the title or use the Actions dropdown to select Edit Title to update it.

If you would like to share your list, click the Manage Collaborators button to search and add others!

Once you have a list, you can start adding tasks to it!

Add Tasks

Within a task list, select Add task to create a new task.

You can also add tasks from the Toolbar by selecting the clipboard icon.

Enter the details of your task.

  1. Add the task's title.

  2. Add a description for the task. You can use the formatting tools above the editor to change the appearance of the description, add bulleted lists, and include hyperlinks.

  3. Choose which list the task belongs to.

  4. If there are collaborators on the list, you can select one of them as the task's assignee. This is unavailable for the default My List as it is private to you.

  5. Set or remove the due date for the task.

Organize and Manage Tasks

When viewing a list of tasks, you can filter that view, search for specific tasks, and manage individual tasks.

  1. Search for a task by name.

  2. Sort the tasks alphabetically, manually, or by due date.

  3. Choose a task view: all tasks, completed tasks, tasks to do, tasks to do or completed on the current day, and tasks to do or completed during the current week.

  4. Mark a task as complete by checking the box. You can also click and drag a task to reorder the list.

  5. Use the three-dot button to edit or remove an individual task.

You can also view different task lists or mark tasks as complete from Toolbar.

To differentiate between your lists, you can change the list color from the Actions dropdown next to the list title.

List colors are not available for the default My List, which is identifiable by a black star icon instead.
